This June to September, holistic wellness pioneer Chiva-Som Hua Hin invites guests to immerse themselves in Reflection on Wellness, a seasonal celebration of health, sustainability, and self-discovery.

Guests can discover a curated calendar of activities, talks, and holistic experiences designed to inspire and transform.

JUNE: Exercise and Mental Health

The season begins by focusing on the mind-body connection. Medical Doctor Dr. Punnapat Thawepornpuriphong will lead a compelling talk titled “How Exercise Affects Your Mental Health,” highlighting how movement improves mood, releases endorphins, reduces stress, and enhances cognitive function—particularly vital for men’s health.

Bringing the mind-body connection into practice is a variety of fitness sessions, including Flow Yoga, blending hatha, vinyasa, and ashtanga styles to unify breath, movement, and mindfulness. A special monthly evening session on Fall Prevention (available in June and July) offers practical insights to reduce risks of injury as one ages.

Holistic sessions include twice weekly Breathing Exercises for Well-Being, and a weekly Nutrition Integration Talk by visiting consultant Lucja Maslowska, a UK-based health specialist with a master’s in nutrition, combining massage therapy, Chinese medicine, and meditation to support whole-body wellness.

On 5 June, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner and acupuncturist, Prathana Kumboonchu, helps guests explore how food infused with ancient Chinese healing practices can support a sustainable lifestyle, in line with today’s healthcare trends.

Featured Practitioner in June: Ashley Tan, an award-winning certified Mental Wellness Coach and Sound Healing Professional, will offer transformative sound healing experiences that help reconnect individuals with their inner selves. Apart from private sessions, guests can immerse themselves in a relaxing sound journey through Ashley’s Sound Meditation, held twice a week, and explore the science and spirituality of sound healing in her introductory talk, Understanding Sound Healing.

JULY: Strengthen from the Inside Out

July continues the momentum with Calcium Myths and Bone Health by Naturopathic Doctor Keletso Kelosiwang on 23 July. During this talk, Keletso debunks common misconceptions around calcium supplements and offers a nutrient-based roadmap for long-term skeletal health.

On 24 July 2025, Sasinipha Chucherd Chulacharitta, the resort’s Corporate Director of Sustainability and Compliance, will lead a session to help guests understand how sustainable living is inseparable from holistic health and how protecting ecosystems can enhance human longevity, resilience, and quality of life.

Sound healing takes centre stage in July with visiting consultant Ashley Tan, who will continue her private sessions and complimentary classes.

AUGUST: Longevity, Men and Women Health and Holistic Harmony

From 25–30 August, renowned Guinness World Record-holding ultra-marathoner and motivational speaker Natalie Dau joins forces with Dawn Sim, a Yoga specialist and sound healer, for a transformative collaboration. Returning for her third partnership with Chiva-Som, Natalie Dau will guide guests – particularly women over 40 – through expertly designed strength training sessions and beach running experiences aimed at increasing bone density. She will also share insights during an engaging talk on maintaining a high-performance lifestyle.

In her debut collaboration with Chiva-Som, Dawn Sim will lead immersive sound bath and breathwork workshops, talks, guided journaling sessions, and mindful yoga classes. The two wellness experts will come together for an insightful panel discussion with Chiva-Som Hua-Hin’s Naturopath, exploring the vital connection between hormones, health, and vitality.

Guests can join the newly launched A Pelvic and Lumbar Therapeutic Treatment, a signature integrated massage which targets muscle tension and tightness in the lower back, pelvis, and abdominals, focusing on releasing knots, improving flexibility, and relieving discomfort by easing tension in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

Guests can also enjoy a Thai Herbal Hair Mask Workshop, introducing the use of fresh Thai traditional botanicals for self-care at home.
