Alongside its thirtieth anniversary, this summer the Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group is also launching new developments at three of its Premium Collection properties, offering guests increased options to ensure that they continue to enjoy the ultimate guest experience.

Three NEW suite categories at South Tyrolean family favourite

As part of a recent refurbishment, South Tyrolean family favourite Falkensteiner Family Resort Lido is set to reopen on 3 July with three entirely new room categories.

Much of this hotel’s appeal can be found in the extraordinary extent of its child-centric facilities, including a rooftop nursery ski slope, high ropes course and the longest water slide in the region.

There is no such thing as the ‘average’ family, so these new suites have been designed to offer best-fit accommodation options that go far beyond the traditional 2+2 model:

  • Smart Family Rooms – for smaller families, these rooms maximise space with a compact layout including sofa bed for additional guest(s), sleeping up to 2 adults and one child. Smart Baby Rooms are also available, sleeping 2 adults and one child under 3.
  • Exclusive Suite Falkytent – ideal for families with children under 12. Spacious master bedroom with separate children’s room with a ready-made tent for kids to play and/or sleep in. Sleeps up to 2 adults and 2-3 children.
  • Exclusive Spa Suite – perfect for those travelling with teens, this suite comes with its own spa bathroom, featuring whirlpool tub and smart TV, plus a separate area with games console. Sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Designed by NOA, the same studio that created the original interiors, the interiors reflect a subtle colour palette that draws heavily on the natural beauty of the region, reproduced with organic patterns and materials.

Guests in all three suites also receive Lido Exclusive Treatment – a reserved table within a dedicated section of DODICI restaurant, drinks package, initial minibar stocking, e-charging station access, underground parking and concierge service.

DODICI – named for the 12 local farms from which much of the kitchen’s produce is sourced – blends regional produce with Mediterranean influences.

New ‘Dining Collection’ expands choices for half-board guests at Hotel & Spa Iadera

Guests at five-star Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera, within the Punta Skala resort close to Zadar on the Croatia’s stunning Dalmation coast, will be spoiled for choice this summer with the launch of the hotel’s ‘Dining Collection’.

Offering access to four different restaurants for evening meals, holidaymakers can opt for the main hotel restaurant Jadran, with sumptuous starter and dessert buffets and daily a la carte options, or indulge in Asian specialities, freshly caught seafood or regional grill dishes.

  • Romantic dinners and celebratory feasts are the order of the day at Bracera, nestled among pine trees with glorious sea views including spectacular sunsets. The à la carte restaurant offers top-quality seafood dishes from local catches and is recognised with two Falstaff forks for its culinary excellence.
  • For more hearty, casual fare, head to Planika Steakhouse, in a traditionally styled restaurant with a focus on typical Dalmatian grilled meats including various steak cuts sourced from local farms.
  • Back at the main hotel and offering poolside views, the vibrant menu at SPICE spans Asian and Mediterranean influences from sashimi and sushi to salads with an Asian twist.

The Dining Collection is bookable on stays of 3 nights +, available until 30 August 2025. Reservations for individual restaurants can be made via the Guest Relations Desk. falkensteiner.com/en/hotel-spa-iadera
