Gold Point was once a bustling silver mining camp of 125 dwellings, a post office, bakery, hotels, cafes, a store and saloons.
It became a ghost town after the silver ran out and its inhabitants moved on. Gold Point Ghost Town is located between Las Vegas and Reno has since been restored, with visitors able to stay the night in one of the original miner cabins. These keep the external history intact while updating the interiors equipped with WiFi.
The historical saloon serves drinks in bar that looks like a movie set. Nevada, in the western United States, is known as the Silver State for its silver mining history. It offers vast deserts and rugged landscapes along with cities including Las Vegas and its
