Lufthansa lounges in Munich and Frankfurt are opening their doors to holders of American Express Platinum and Centurion cards who are travelling on a Lufthansa, Swiss or Austrian Airlines flight.

As of the start of June Amex premium card members can enjoy complementary access to Lufthansa lounges in Frankfurt’s Terminal 1 Concourse B and Munich Airport’s Satellite Building of Terminal 2.

Platinum Card members can access Lufthansa Business Lounges (regardless of ticket class) and Lufthansa Senator Lounges (when flying business class). Centurion members get complimentary access to Lufthansa First Class, Senator, and Business lounges, regardless of ticket class.

Access to the Frankfurt lounges is initially available through until March 31, 2019, and in Munich until May 31, 2019.

Amex card holders are also permitted to bring a guest into certain Lufthansa lounges for an additional fee.

The Lufthansa lounges are now part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection, which includes more than 1,100 lounges in 120 countries and more than 500 cities.

The programme permits access to American Express Centurion and International American Express lounges, Delta Sky Club, Priority PassTM Select lounges, Airspace Lounges, Escape Lounge US, and Plaza Premium lounges.
