Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the acquisition of the me and all hotels brand from Lindner Hotels AG.
This strategic move is set to enhance Hyatt’s presence in Europe, building on a successful collaboration with Lindner initiated in 2022. The acquisition integrates me and all hotels into Hyatt’s global lifestyle portfolio as a standalone brand, further solidifying Hyatt’s expansion in the region.
Since its launch in 2016, the me and all hotels brand has grown to encompass six properties with over 1,000 rooms, strategically located in central urban areas across Germany. The brand’s pipeline is robust, featuring both conversions and new builds in key cities such as Berlin (opening in 2024), Hamburg, Leipzig, and Stuttgart (all expected by 2026). Hyatt’s development plans include an additional 1,000 rooms, with numerous deals under negotiation beyond Germany.
Felicity Black-Roberts, SVP Development EAME at Hyatt, highlighted the brand’s expansion potential, stating, “The Lindner team has built an incredible brand with me and all hotels, and we believe the brand has great potential for expansion across Europe and other global markets. Our collaboration with Lindner has significantly expanded our footprint, offering new locations to our 46 million World of Hyatt members.”
Arno Schwalie, CEO of Lindner, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership’s future, “We are thrilled to deepen our successful collaboration and shift into high-growth gear for me and all hotels, backed by Hyatt’s global distribution engine. The brand’s vibrant pipeline and potential for growth as part of Hyatt make us confident it will shine on the global stage.”
