The Business Travel Association (BTA), the authoritative voice of business travel, has today announced a new partnership with global hotel booking technology specialist, HotelHub.

The strategic alliance will enable the BTA’s TMC members and partners to gain valuable insight into optimising their hotel business strategy as HotelHub’s platform has been designed specifically to give TMCs unparalleled efficiencies, choice and automation of corporate hotel bookings.

Established in 2008, HotelHub is a cutting-edge solution for corporate travel hotel bookings as it uniquely consolidates GDS and non-GDS content within a single intuitive web-based agency tool for TMCs and a self-booking tool for business travellers and arrangers.

This gives users access to two million hotels worldwide and automates the entire hotel booking flow within one platform. HotelHub also includes an application programming interface (API) integrated with the business travel industry’s principle online booking tools.

The partnership will give HotelHub access to the BTA’s shared consultancy services including industry insights, market updates, exclusive events, white papers and more. HotelHub is the latest major industry organisation to partner with the BTA, the UK’s representative body for the business travel sector.Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA, said: “As the travel industry is finally able to move once more, it is crucial TMCs receive the support they deserve. That is why we are delighted to be working with HotelHub, who will help educate our loyal members and TMC partners on how to drive efficiencies and revenue from hotel bookings.”

Eric Meierhans, Chief Commercial Officer, HotelHub said: “We are delighted to have formed this partnership with the BTA, whose dedication to business travel and TMCs reflects our own. Managing corporate hotel bookings, especially in the post-Covid era, will require a smart strategy and data-driven decisions to optimise traveller safety, budgets and CSR. We look forward to supporting the BTA’s TMC community with their goals and hotel strategy, particularly as business travel returns post pandemic.”
