Mama Shelter Lisboa reinforces its commitment to the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) sector with the opening of a new space called Penthouse.
Located on the eighth floor of the hotel, it offers a multifunctional space of 100 m² with a privileged view over the Tagus River, the 25 de Abril Bridge and Cristo Rei. Designed to meet the growing demand for distinctive spaces for business meetings and incentives, the Mama Shelter Lisboa Penthouse combines technology, comfort and an inspiring atmosphere, without forgetting the dynamic and welcoming spirit that characterises the hotel.
The new room, which opens at the end of March, has been designed to provide an immersive and innovative experience for business clients, combining design and functionality.
With capacity for up to 100 people standing or 80 in the audience, the space has a large screen, sound system, microphone and Wi-Fi connection for screen sharing. The natural light provided by the large windows located throughout the room makes for a comfortable and productive environment.
With direct access to the hotel’s rooftop, the space also offers the possibility of complementing events with cocktails, coffee breaks and networking moments in the open air, taking advantage of the unique view over the city and making the most of the F&B and entertainment on offer at Mama Shelter Lisboa.
Strategic expansion for events and meetings
The creation of this space involved converting rooms into work areas, reducing the number of accommodation units in the hotel from 130 to 126 rooms. This strategic decision reflects Mama Shelter Lisboa’s commitment to diversifying its offer and attracting an increasingly demanding public in the meetings and business events sector.
‘We want to continue to offer a relevant and differentiating experience to our clients, allowing them a more immersive contact with the Mama Shelter universe, from the daily entertainment to the entire F&B dynamic. The opening of the Penthouse represents an essential step towards consolidating the hotel as a dynamic hub for the MICE segment in Lisbon,’ emphasises Julien Leroy, owner of Mama Shelter Lisboa.
The new investment reinforces Mama Shelter Lisboa’s position as a complete destination for those looking to combine business and leisure, providing innovative solutions for corporate events by integrating the MICE offer with the entertainment offer, while maintaining the irreverence and hospitality that characterise the brand.
