Hilton is bringing its youthful and affordable Tru by Hilton brand to Asia Pacific for the first time, with the debut of 14 new properties across Vietnam, starting in 2025.

The move is part of a multi-hotel development deal with ROX Group(formerly TNG Holdings Vietnam), expanding Hilton’s footprint in one of its fastest-growing Southeast Asian markets.

The first four hotels – including Tru by Hilton Hanoi Station and Tru by Hilton Ha Long Hon Gai City Centre – have now been announced, offering business and leisure travellers a vibrant, tech-forward experience designed around comfort, value, and convenience.

With Vietnam’s tourism and domestic travel sectors booming, driven by a growing middle class, Tru by Hilton aims to cater to a new generation of travellers seeking modern amenities, local character, and competitive price points.

A fresh take on midscale travel

Tru by Hilton, already successful in the Americas with openings across Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, brings its signature features to Vietnam. Each hotel will offer:

  • Spacious, smartly designed guestrooms with modern furnishings
  • Fully equipped fitness centres and flexible lobby social zones
  • The brand’s “Top It” breakfast bar, featuring customisable options including regional favourites like dumplings
  • A 24/7 Eat. & Sip. market, serving local gourmet snacks and drinks
  • Tru-ly Local walls with neighbourhood tips and recommendations

Rates start from just VND 900,000++ (approx. USD $34) per night, with flexible booking and free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival.

Flagship openings

Tru by Hilton Hanoi Station is set in the heart of Vietnam’s capital, drawing design inspiration from the historic Hanoi Railway Station. With 129 rooms across various categories, the hotel places guests steps from cultural hotspots such as Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Strategic growth in Vietnam

Hilton currently operates six hotels in Vietnam under its Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection, and Hilton Garden Inn brands. With the Tru by Hilton expansion, its pipeline increases to 29 hotels, underlining Vietnam’s status as one of Hilton’s largest growth markets in Southeast Asia.

This expansion is also part of a broader long-term agreement between Hilton and ROX Group, which includes:

  • 13 Tru by Hilton hotels
  • 50 Holiday Inn – the niu properties
  • 56 Garner hotels

All Tru by Hilton properties in Vietnam will be part of the Hilton Honors loyalty program, offering digital check-in, flexible point-and-cash bookings, member-only discounts, and mobile key access via the Hilton Honors app.
