The London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square has unveiled a major refurbishment of its meeting and event spaces, executive lounge, and lobby facilities, reinforcing its position as a flagship business hotel in the heart of Mayfair ahead of its 40th anniversary on 12 June.

The five-star property, long regarded as a go-to venue for corporate gatherings and high-level meetings, has completed a top-to-bottom refresh of its Mayfair Suites, reimagined its M Club Lounge, and introduced a new lobby concept featuring an all-day dining café.

The hotel’s 11 event spaces, which span over 16,000 square feet, include the newly renovated Mayfair Suites, now offering increased flexibility for conferences, board meetings, and private functions. The updated space can accommodate up to 170 guests and be subdivided into four distinct rooms to suit a variety of event formats.

New features include purpose-designed networking areas, premium barista-style coffee stations, and a refreshed catering menu designed for both corporate and private use.

The Marriott’s executive-level M Club Lounge has also undergone a full redesign, with a new layout aimed at meeting the demands of today’s business travellers. The upgraded lounge now offers private work zones, social seating for informal meetings, and a curated range of refreshments throughout the day.

In the hotel lobby, a new space called The Luggage Room Lounge has been introduced—a relaxed all-day café serving coffee, light bites, and bistro-inspired dishes. The venue complements the hotel’s existing 1920s-style Luggage Room Bar, which remains one of Mayfair’s best-kept cocktail secrets. During the day, the lounge will also serve items from the speakeasy’s food menu, providing a seamless transition from day to night for guests and visitors.

Speaking about the upgrades, Alok Dixit, General Manager of London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, said: “As we mark our 40th anniversary, these renovations reflect our ongoing commitment to providing world-class business and event facilities. Whether it’s an international conference or a private board meeting, our enhanced spaces offer the perfect blend of functionality, hospitality, and style—right in the heart of Mayfair.”

The renovation comes as London continues to see growing demand for premium meeting venues that blend cutting-edge amenities with heritage surroundings. With its newly enhanced offering, the Marriott Grosvenor Square is well positioned to meet that demand and remain a cornerstone of London’s business events scene for years to come.
