JetBlue has announced a new partnership with high-speed rail operator Brightline, allowing passengers to book seamless air and rail itineraries across Florida.

The collaboration aims to streamline travel between JetBlue’s flights and Brightline’s fast-growing network of city-centre rail services, offering greater flexibility for passengers navigating the Sunshine State.

Travellers can now purchase Brightline tickets directly through JetBlue’s website as part of a combined itinerary. The intermodal integration connects JetBlue flights at Orlando International Airport — which houses a Brightline station — with key South Florida destinations including Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.

Brightline complements these connections with airport shuttle services from its South Florida stations, further easing end-to-end journeys for JetBlue customers.

JetBlue said the agreement would also provide valuable backup options during operational disruptions in Florida. “This partnership enables JetBlue to offer alternative itineraries that include Brightline rail segments during periods of irregular Florida operations,” the carrier stated.

The move reinforces JetBlue’s focus on customer convenience and travel innovation, while boosting Brightline’s ambition to create a more integrated transportation network across Florida.
