Massimiliano Perversi leads one of Venice’s most iconic properties – Hilton Molino Stucky – with a blend of strategic precision and heartfelt hospitality.

Appointed General Manager in January 2022, he brings over 30 years of experience across luxury brands including Four Seasons, Ferragamo, Baglioni Hotels, and Hilton’s Curio Collection. His career has spanned continents, but it’s Venice – its history, elegance, and quiet grandeur – that now anchors his vision.

From COO roles in Milan and New York to GM positions in Rome, Massimiliano’s journey has been shaped by a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences and empowering teams to thrive. At Hilton Molino Stucky, he oversees every facet of operations, from marketing and administration to service excellence and cultural integration.

What inspired you to pursue a career in hotel management?

It began with a passion for creating moments that last. Hospitality allows us to turn a simple stay into something unforgettable. At Hilton Molino Stucky, that mission feels especially meaningful—this hotel is a Venetian landmark, and every guest experience is a chance to honour its legacy.

How do you balance emerging trends and evolving guests’ preferences?

We stay agile. Trends shift quickly, but relevance comes from listening—both to global movements and to our guests. Wellness, sustainability, and personalised service are shaping the future, and we adapt thoughtfully, ensuring every innovation adds lasting value.

Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently?

No. I’ve worked across every department, and that breadth has given me a deep respect for the entire team. Our success depends on seamless collaboration, and I wouldn’t trade that understanding for anything.

What defines your management style?

People-first. I believe in investing in human capital and empowering individuals to grow. Leadership is a daily challenge, but when you prioritise people, you build a culture that elevates everything—from service to innovation.

What are your strategic goals and vision for the hotel?

We aim to position Hilton Molino Stucky as a benchmark for high-end Venetian hospitality. That means refining our culinary and mixology offerings, curating authentic guest experiences, and guiding visitors beyond the tourist trail to discover the soul of the lagoon. These goals align with Hilton’s broader mission: world-class hospitality rooted in local culture and innovation.

What advice would you give to someone starting out?

Be flexible. Say yes to every opportunity. Hospitality is dynamic, and growth comes from embracing challenge, learning constantly, and setting bold goals. Stay curious, stay committed, and never stop evolving.
