One of Catalonia’s most iconic celebrations, the Santa Tecla Festival, will take place in Tarragona (Costa Daurada) from 12th to 24th September 2025.
For two weeks, the city will be filled with parades, human towers, fireworks, music, and gastronomy, attracting thousands of visitors. The highlight is on 23rd September, when the Seguici Popular accompanies the entrance of Santa Tecla’s relic to the cathedral, a unique display of Catalan heritage, tradition, and emotion.
This year’s edition also marks special anniversaries, including the 100th anniversary of “L’Amparito Roca” and the 200th anniversary of the Gegants Vells, with special performances and concerts.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tarragona is renowned for its Roman legacy, medieval old town, and vibrant cultural life, offering the perfect setting for one of Catalonia’s most treasured festivals.
