Disneyland Paris has announced the next chapter in its hotel redevelopment programme with a full-scale renovation of Disney Sequoia Lodge, set to begin in 2026.

The transformation will reimagine all 1,010 guest rooms and common areas, blending modern design with the resort’s signature nature-inspired aesthetic. The renovation follows the successful reimaginings of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and the flagship Disneyland Hotel, reinforcing Disneyland Paris’s commitment to elevating its hospitality offering for both leisure and business guests.

Nestled on the shores of Lake Disney and surrounded by pine trees and sequoias, Disney Sequoia Lodge has long been a favourite for travellers seeking rustic charm with proximity to the parks. The upcoming refurbishment will retain the lodge’s warm, woodland atmosphere while introducing brighter interiors, updated furnishings, and expanded storytelling elements. The current Bambi-themed rooms will evolve to include a broader range of forest-dwelling Disney characters, subtly woven into the design of rooms, restaurants, and public spaces.

For business travellers, the renovation promises enhanced comfort and functionality. With upgraded lighting, improved climate control, and refreshed communal areas, the lodge will offer an inviting environment for corporate retreats, incentive travel, and executive stays. The hotel’s proximity to Disneyland Paris’s convention centre and transport links—including direct access to Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport—makes it a strategic choice for meetings and events.

Sustainability will be central to the renovation, with Disney confirming the use of eco-conscious materials and construction practices designed to minimise environmental impact. The refurbishment will be carried out in phases, allowing the resort to remain operational throughout the process and ensuring minimal disruption to guests.

The redesign will also extend to the lodge’s dining and retail spaces, with updated layouts and décor reflecting the new forest-and-wildlife theme. While no official completion date has been announced, the first phase is scheduled to begin in early 2026.   The hotel will remain open whilst the renovations are being made.

As Disneyland Paris continues to evolve, Disney Sequoia Lodge’s transformation signals a renewed focus on immersive, sustainable hospitality—offering business travellers a unique blend of nature, comfort, and convenience in the heart of Europe’s most visited tourist destination.
