Aethos Hotels & Resorts proudly announces the opening of Aethos London Shoreditch, its first UK property, marking a bold new chapter in East London’s hospitality scene.
Set within the former Nobu Hotel on Willow Street, the 164-room boutique hotel has undergone a complete transformation, blending refined design, community-driven experiences, and a deep sense of cultural immersion.
Designed by Barcelona-based Astet Studio, the interiors draw inspiration from Shoreditch’s industrial and artisanal heritage. Raw materials like terracotta and brushed metals meet warm wood textures and bespoke lighting, creating a layered, tactile environment that feels both grounded and inviting. The building’s original architectural features have been preserved and reimagined, offering guests a slower, more mindful luxury rooted in place.
At the heart of the hotel is the Aethos Members’ Club, a curated space for creatives, entrepreneurs, and modern explorers. More than a private lounge, it’s a hub for cultural exchange, offering intimate meeting spaces, thought-provoking talks, wellness rituals, and collaborations with local visionaries. The club’s programming is built around four pillars—The Table, The Mix, Wellness Rituals, and Off Grid—each designed to reflect the energy of Shoreditch rather than escape it.
“Aethos is more than just a hotel brand—it’s a global community,” said Benjamin Habbel, Co-Founder and CEO of Aethos. “With our London launch, we’re creating a space that feels alive, local, and deeply personal. Shoreditch is the perfect canvas for this vision.”
Guests can expect a distinctly East London experience, from the minimalist yet soulful guest rooms to the Japanese-inspired dining concept housed in a listening bar curated with vinyl records. The restaurant offers charcoal-grilled yakitori, umami-rich small plates, and cocktails crafted with precision—an homage to street food culture elevated through design and detail.
A boutique spa and high-performance training studio round out the offering, with treatments focused on longevity and balance. Whether visiting for business or leisure, Aethos London invites guests to connect, recharge, and engage with the city’s creative pulse.
With its opening, Aethos London Shoreditch sets a new standard for hospitality in the capital—where elegance meets authenticity, and every stay becomes part of a larger cultural conversation.
