Situated atop East Gros Ventre Butte, the lodge boasts panoramic views of the Teton Range. Guests awaken to the sight of snow-capped peaks and the allure of adventure. Its close proximity to downtown Jackson also facilitates the discovery of local shops, art galleries, and restaurants.

The Rusty Parrot Lodge boasts a rich history that mirrors the essence of Jackson Hole. Established in 1990 with a dedication to preserving Wyoming’s heritage, the lodge was transformed into a warm and inviting retreat.

The family-owned boutique, Rusty Parrot, opened its doors and swiftly earned recognition as one of the world’s premier luxury hotels. In 2019, a catastrophic fire caused significant damage to the hotel’s original log structure. Embodying the resilient spirit of the West, characterized by both grit and grace, the hotel was rebuilt.

The family took this opportunity to enhance the unique amenities and the serene, opulent ambiance they had established. The Harrison Family has proudly announced the grand reopening of the Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa, signifying its eagerly awaited return to its historic location near the town square in Jackson, Wyoming.

The hotel has undergone a comprehensive renovation, including 40 guest rooms, a cutting-edge spa, a full-service restaurant and bar, various outdoor areas, and an underground valet parking lot. Despite these changes, it has preserved its heritage by integrating favourites from the original establishment, such as local art and sculptures, iconic bedside cowboy lamps, and the cherished stuffed bear turndown service, ensuring the family-run hotel retains its homely feel. Upholding the same hospitality principles since its inception in Jackson three decades ago, the Rusty Parrot stands ready to welcome guests eager to experience ‘the last of the Old West’ in 2024.

For decades, the Rusty Parrot has been crafting bespoke experiences for its guests, and now it is poised for an exhilarating new chapter. The hotel’s reconstruction pays homage to its legacy while forging ahead with an exciting future. Maintaining their commitment to intimate mountain luxury and meticulous attention to detail, they have integrated more sophisticated amenities and contemporary touches wherever possible.

WRJ Design, renowned for their Western-inspired interiors, partnered in the lodge’s decoration. They procured antiques, textiles, and bespoke furnishings to foster a sense of belonging. The architecture blends seamlessly with the natural environment. Log beams, river rock details, and expansive windows contribute to a cosy, rustic atmosphere. The lobby is centred around a majestic fireplace, offering a welcoming space for guests to congregate and exchange tales of their adventures.

For more than thirty years, guests have been the focal point, with every effort made to ensure that the essence of the Rusty Parrot is complemented by all the conveniences and comforts they could desire to enhance the homely feel.

The Wild Sage Restaurant is a culinary treasure that attracts both locals and visitors. In keeping with the Rusty Parrot’s elegantly rustic charm, this cosy eatery offers seasonal dishes crafted with refined simplicity. It’s a place where memories are made, as much around the dinner table as anywhere else.

Body Sage Spa offers a haven for relaxation with massages, facials, and body treatments after an active day of hiking or skiing. The spa’s use of organic products further promotes a serene experience. Meanwhile, the Outdoor Hot Tub invites you to unwind under the expansive Wyoming sky, melting away stress as you enjoy the breath taking mountain views.

The Rusty Parrot boasts new outdoor areas where guests can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains, observe wildlife, or socialize with a craft cocktail beneath the stars. The heated rooftop deck, known as the Perch, offers an ideal spot for après-adventure relaxation, featuring an oversized fireplace and lounge seating under the night sky.

Moreover, the expansive outdoor courtyard boasts a 12-person hot tub and a fire pit, ideal for roasting s’mores and marking the close of the day. Wildlife lovers will appreciate the second deck, which offers vistas of Saddle Butte and Flat Creek, with complimentary binoculars on hand for observing deer, elk, or moose. Upholding a cherished tradition, the Rusty Parrot still offers freshly baked cookies every day, which are perhaps best savoured alongside a captivating book and a warm cup of coffee in the Lodge’s library.
