Tucked away on the Croatian island of Hvar, Maslina Resort is a sanctuary of mindful luxury. Spanning just over a hectare of pristine nature, it boasts views of the picturesque Maslinica Bay, close to the historic town of Stari Grad, one of the oldest in the Eastern Adriatic.

The resort features 50 rooms and three villas, each spacious and offering views of the Adriatic or the gardens, complemented by sunlit terraces. The design pays homage to nature, utilizing local Brac stone, exotic Iroko wood, brushed brass, and a palette of terracotta, inspired by the four elements and the hues of the Adriatic Sea.

Rooms are appointed with organic cotton linens, wooden bathtubs, and walk-in showers; some include double vanities, and eight suites boast heated plunge pools. Every room showcases a carefully selected vintage piece, adding to the comfort of the guest’s experience.

In-room guest amenities feature lavender soap sourced from Hvar’s cherished lavender fields, as well as olive-oil-based (“Maslina” means olive in Croatian) toiletries and natural cosmetics at the Pharomatiq spa. These products are locally crafted, non-toxic, and plastic-free.

The A-Bay Bar offers a dining experience with beachside refreshments and daybeds, serving coffee, pastries, and light lunches. As the sun sets, cocktails, champagne, and tapas-style dishes are available.

They prioritize local and regional suppliers, using organic, seasonal food and ingredients, much of which is sourced from their own Organic Gardens. The restaurant’s philosophy is to ensure the shortest journey “from Earth to table.” With half of their wine list featuring Croatian wines, they maintain a strong awareness of their carbon footprint.

Featuring a modern fitness room, beauty salon, and relaxation areas, the spa also boasts a dedicated Aqua Thermal area with a Finnish sauna, aromatherapy steam bath, Turkish Hammam, and cold plunge pool. Hvar itself is a health sanatorium, recognized as a destination for recovery and wellbeing since 1868.

Situated near the historic Stari Grad, Uffizi Gallery, and the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum.

Relax, enjoy local delicacies, and immerse yourself in the Adriatic’s allure as Maslina Resort welcomes you to discover the finest of Hvar.
