Nestled in the serene natural port of Cala Llonga, the Mondrian Ibiza stands as a beacon of modern luxury on the white isle.
The Mondrian Ibiza, now open for the 2024 season, heralds a fresh era in the island’s luxury lodging. Crafted by Beades Architects and Cuarto Interior, it stands as an architectural wonder that incorporates Ibiza’s landscape into its design. This visually stunning establishment is part of the expanding collection of Ennismore Hotels.
The hotel features 154 design-led rooms and suites, ranging from Forest View Studios to luxurious Sea-view suites. Each room exemplifies refined simplicity, decorated with local materials such as wood, leather, and linen. For a truly breath-taking experience, the Panoramic Sea-view suite includes a wrap-around balcony.
The colour palette, featuring earthy beiges and browns, contrasts sharply with the concrete walls and stark bed linen. Each room boasts a standout ceiling light and low-hanging lamps. The ensuite bathrooms come with walk-in showers, stunning vanity mirrors, and the added luxury of refillable Malin+Goetz toiletries.
The hotel also offers accessible deluxe rooms with additional space for extra needs, ensuring that all areas, including communal spaces, are accessible via lifts and ramps.
Guests can enjoy an array of amenities. The hotel boasts three opulent oceanfront pools, a cutting-edge fitness centre, and a 24-hour children’s indoor playground. With its seven restaurants, bars, and a coffee bar/marketplace, the hotel cultivates a metropolitan coffee culture on the island.
Regarding sustainability, the restaurants utilize locally-sourced produce, minimize single-use plastics, and offer refillable toiletries. Glass bottles have replaced plastics in the minibars, complemented by paper coffee cups and straws.
The Mondrian Ibiza is more than just a hotel; it’s an experience. With its sophisticated design, extensive amenities, and stunning location, it captures the unique energy, culture, and beauty of Ibiza.
