Polar expedition cruise specialist Polar Escapes has announced its most extensive programme to date, unveiling new itineraries for the 2026 and 2027 seasons across both the Arctic and Antarctica.

The schedule includes voyages to the Geographic North Pole, the Weddell Sea in Antarctica, Svalbard, Greenland, and the Northwest Passage. The company says the programme reflects a growing demand for more remote and lesser-visited polar destinations, while still offering routes to established locations such as the Antarctic Peninsula.

“Over the last year, we have seen a positive trend in travellers looking for unique, off-the-beaten-track polar destinations,” said chief executive Andy Marsh. “Whilst places like the Antarctic Peninsula remain popular, we have seen a rise in interest in longer expeditions to the Northwest Passage, the Geographic North Pole and East Antarctica.”

Founded by Marsh, who has more than 15 years’ experience in polar travel, Polar Escapes acts as a booking platform for a range of polar expedition operators, offering search and comparison tools as well as financial protection for bookings.

The company’s model allows travellers to book cruises with different operators through a single service, with itineraries ranging from icebreaker voyages in East Greenland to wildlife-focused trips in Antarctica.

As part of the season launch, Polar Escapes is offering a short-term discount on new bookings, applicable across all 2026 and 2027 departures.
