easyHotel, the affordable and low-carbon hotel chain, has opened bookings for its first location in Valencia, right in the city’s historic centre, in the Ciutat Vella district. The hotel, scheduled to open on August 25, will offer rooms starting at €60 per night.

With this new opening in Valencia, easyHotel marks its third launch in Spain in just
12 months, reaching a total of five establishments in the country—a clear sign of the
brand’s growing momentum.

Recent openings in Barcelona and Madrid have strengthened its current presence, alongside existing hotels in Málaga and Barcelona Fira. Together, these locations allow the chain to serve a broader audience in some of Spain’s most in-demand destinations. A sixth opening is planned in Alicante in 2026, which will further consolidate easyHotel’s presence on the Iberian Peninsula.

The new hotel features 95 rooms across six categories, including double, twin, and
family rooms, catering to various types of travelers and needs. All rooms offer a
modern and compact design, including the signature easyHotel amenities: premium four-star-style mattresses, air conditioning, blackout curtains, and free ultra-fast Wi-Fi. Guests can also enjoy a well-priced continental buffet breakfast and 24-hour reception service.

Thanks to its smart design and low-emission construction, the new easyHotel Valencia Ciutat Vella emits 39% less CO₂ over its 50-year life cycle compared to other budget hotel chains. The building also incorporates energy-efficient systems and materials and has earned a BREEAM “Very Good” certification, a benchmark in sustainable construction. This reinforces easyHotel’s commitment to an accessible, low-impact travel model.

The hotel is located in the central Plaza Rojas Clemente, just a short walk from some of Valencia’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Cathedral, Central Market, and Turia Gardens. Its prime location allows guests to immerse themselves in the cultural and historical heart of the city, with excellent transport links: Àngel Guimerà metro station is just five minutes away on foot, Joaquín Sorolla train station is a seven-minute taxi ride, and the airport is only 20 minutes away by car—ensuring convenient access for both leisure and business travellers.

easyHotel recently secured €29.2 million in funding from CaixaBank, underlining its
long-term commitment to strategic growth in Spain. This investment will support
the development of new hotels in key cities such as Valencia, Madrid, and Alicante,
helping easyHotel expand its affordable and sustainable offering in Spain’s most
connected and high-demand destinations.
