Palace Natali revives the ljetnikovac tradition of the Dubrovnik Republic above the Old Town walls: a residence where guests inhabit the city on their own terms, at their own pace.
Palace Natali, a 21-room and suite historic property, dates back to the 16th century. Located near the ancient city of Dubrovnik, a stay at Palace Natali mirrors that of the historic nobility. Ljetnikovci (LYEHT-nee-ko-vats) are private estates built just beyond the walls of the city, on the hills above the harbour, where the pace of life was shaped by gardens, long meals, and unhurried days. Palace Natali is the closest of these historic residences to the Old City. The daily life is shaped by three rituals rooted in its history, each one drawing on the classical ideal that the noble families of the Republic built their summer estates to protect. The art of conversation, the art of writing and the art of reflection. Dubrovnik in summer is among the most visited places in Europe, relative to its size. The walls are photographed from morning to night. The streets inside the Old Town fill before nine and empty only after dark. Palace Natali sits above all of this, three minutes by car from the Pile Gate and entirely removed from its rhythm. Guests at Palace Natali experience a different, more considered, thoughtful side of Dubrovnik: the coastline spread below, the Adriatic beyond it, the city quiet in the early morning light. It is where traditions are reawakened, the stillness, the peacefulness, echoing moments to converse, to journal, to reflect.

Palace Natali is adults-oriented and set beneath the slopes of Mount Srđ, with sweeping views across the Old Town and the open Adriatic. A limited number of rooms remain available for the 2026 season. Reservations for 2027 are now open.
