The Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza will become the eighth jewel in the brand’s exclusive collection of luxury properties. Sofitel Legend hotels are distinguished by their timeless elegance and fascinating history, creating unique atmospheres that tell stories from the past. From Agatha Christie’s masterpiece “Death on the Nile” to Charlie Chaplin and Paulette Godard’s honeymoon, to the birth of James Bond, the Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza joins this exclusive network to share the legends of ancient Egyptian civilization, with an exceptional view of the Pyramids of Giza.
The second Sofitel Legend in Egypt, the hotel joins the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract in Aswan. Other hotels of the brand include the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama, Panama City; the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, Colombia; the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Vietnam; the Sofitel Legend People’s Grand Xi’an, China; and the brand new Sofitel Legend The Mozart Prague, Czech Republic, scheduled to open in 2027.
Guests will enjoy upscale accommodations with 303 rooms and suites designed with detail, capturing the grandeur and mystery of ancient Egypt with contemporary comforts and refined French touches. Wellness facilities will include a spa and fitness centre, infinity pools, while a collection of restaurants, including an all-day dining room and three specialty dining options, will offer world-class cuisine with views of the pyramids.
