Aloft by Marriott, part of Marriott’s portfolio of over 30 extraordinary brands, has opened its first location in Northern Ireland as the iconic Aloft by Marriott Belfast Titanic Quarter docks in in Belfast’s historic Titanic Quarter. It is expected that the investment will create over 70 jobs for the region.
Aloft Belfast Titanic Quarter features 135 vibrant loft-style bedrooms, each offering striking views across the Titanic Quarter and waterfront. Guests can kick-start their day at Re:Fuel, Aloft by Marriott’s grab-and-go food and drinks hub, before later heading to the W XYZ® Bar for craft cocktails, multiple cuisines and live music as the sun goes down.
The hotel sits on Belfast’s Titanic Quarter development, offering a new choice of accommodation for visitors enjoying a show at the SSE Arena or exploring the Titanic Museum. The development attracts over 3.6 million visitors per year, following an investment of over £650 million.
It’s home to major TV and film productions, the world’s largest Titanic visitor attraction and one of Belfast’s most desirable residential waterfront developments.
Perfectly positioned just two miles from Belfast City Centre, the hotel places guests within easy reach of many of Northern Ireland’s leading attractions. Cultural landmarks such as Belfast City Hall and Crumlin Road Gaol are also within easy reach, as well as Titanic Studios, famous for being the site of major film and television productions, including Game of Thrones. Families can explore the nearby W5 Science and Discovery Centre and W5 LIFE digital learning facility.

The property opens as part of a dual-hotel development, sharing its site with the newly opened Residence Inn by Marriott Belfast Titanic Quarter, providing added flexibility for guests looking for home comforts during extended stays in the city. This property offers 93 spacious studios and one-bedroom suites, each with fully equipped kitchens and separate living, work and sleeping areas, making it an ideal option for business travellers, families, and longer-term guests.
