Aloft Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 brands, has opened its first property in Istanbul with the launch of Aloft Istanbul Karaköy.
The opening marks the brand’s second hotel in Türkiye and introduces Aloft’s signature urban-inspired design and high-energy social spaces to one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
Located in Karaköy, the hotel is infused with the area’s artistic spirit, combining electric blues, neon accents and raw textures. Artwork from local artists, curated by Elif Ece Kazan, celebrates the cultural heartbeat of the neighbourhood.
The property features 107 loft-style rooms and suites, complete with high ceilings, platform beds, 55-inch LED TVs, rainfall showers and custom amenities. Playful design details and curated artwork aim to reflect the creative energy of Karaköy.
True to Aloft’s DNA, the hotel places emphasis on social interaction and entertainment. Guests can gather at the WXYZ Bar for live music and signature cocktails, enjoy international dining on the restaurant terrace, or relax in common areas featuring a billiards table and gaming console.
For convenience, Re:fuel by Aloft provides a 24/7 grab-and-go market. Families are catered for through Camp Aloft, a programme offering child-friendly sleepover kits and games. Pets are welcomed via Aloft’s Arf (Animals Are Fun) initiative, complete with cosy beds, bowls and treats.
Aimed at both digital nomads and business travellers, the hotel offers a 12-person meeting room with advanced A/V technology, as well as a Re:charge fitness centre open around the clock.
