Ansty Hall in Warwickshire has entered a new phase of its transformation, unveiling seven redesigned bedrooms as part of a long‑term restoration programme under the Exclusive Collection.
This beautiful 17th‑century country house, which joined the group in 2023, has already seen its ground floor refreshed, and the newly completed rooms mark the first step in updating its accommodation offering.
Two of the rooms, Leofric and Whittle were created in collaboration with Russell Sage Studio, each drawing inspiration from figures connected to the region’s history. Leofric references the Earl of Mercia, a former landholder of Ansty village, with a design centred around warm tones and a dramatic carved bed, while Whittle pays tribute to Sir Frank Whittle, the Coventry‑born aviation pioneer, through a cloud‑themed ceiling and aerospace‑influenced artwork .
The remaining five rooms were developed by Trevillion Interiors and take cues from local craftsmanship and the area’s textile heritage. Among them is Woad, a signature bedroom named after the plant historically used to produce Coventry’s distinctive blue dye, once prized across medieval England .
With the addition of one extra room, Ansty Hall now offers 63 bedrooms in total, expanding capacity while strengthening its connection to local stories and traditions .
General manager Steve Ogden said the redesign aims to give guests a deeper sense of place, with details that highlight the area’s legends, innovators and weaving heritage. He described the new rooms as spaces intended to inspire reflection and encourage visitors to slow down and engage with the estate’s surroundings .
The bedroom refurbishment will continue in 2027 as Exclusive Collection progresses with its wider restoration plans for the historic property .
