The Business Travel Association (BTA) has announced the appointment of three new members to its Generation Board, reinforcing its commitment to diversity and the next generation of leadership in the business travel sector.

Following a competitive process with 16 applicants, Sarah Lee, Business Travel Consultant at arrangeMY; Nabila Najayi, Sales Development Representative at Wings Global Travel; and Izzie Mathews, Online Support Specialist at Take2Eton, have been selected to join the board.

The new intake comes after the BTA’s Executive Board recently achieved 50/50 gender balance for the first time, marking a milestone in its drive towards broader representation.

Each of the new members brings a distinct focus:
• Sarah Lee aims to champion sustainability and technology, with particular expertise in the hotel sector and corporate travel.
• Nabila Najayi brings hospitality and corporate travel management experience, focusing on innovation, talent development, and sustainable, traveller-focused solutions.
• Izzie Mathews seeks to amplify the voice of women in the male-dominated travel technology space, supporting innovation and smarter use of digital tools.

Helen Turner, Membership and Education Manager at the BTA, said: “Bringing new voices onto the Board is always exciting. Sarah, Nabila, and Izzie will bring fresh ideas and energy, strengthening the business travel community and helping shape the future of the industry.”

The Generation Board plays a key role in providing younger professionals with a platform to contribute to BTA initiatives, ensuring that the business travel industry evolves in line with new talent, technology, and sustainability priorities.
