CABÜ, a design-led eco cabin resort brand, announces the development of its third UK destination: CABÜ in the Cotswolds.
A £24 million luxury cabin retreat set to open in 2027 on a 25-acre woodland site in Langley, Oxfordshire, within the internationally
renowned Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty expanding its footprint in the UK’s premium eco-resort sector.
The launch comes amid a significant rise in demand for experience-led, nature immersive travel and the continued growth in popularity of UK short-term stays. With more travellers choosing high-quality domestic escapes over overseas trips, guests are increasingly prioritising meaningful stays that combine wellbeing, design, and
connection to the outdoors. Industry trends show a clear shift away from traditional hotel stays in favour of private, design-driven accommodation offering both independence and curated communal experiences.
Blending architect-designed cabins with a real commitment to sustainability, the resort will feature 51 self-catered eco-cabins ranging from one to three bedrooms, ideal for couples, families and small groups. Each cabin will showcase beautifully considered
interiors, combining contemporary finishes, natural materials and warm, inviting living spaces that complement the surrounding setting. Designed using modern timber engineering methods that minimise environmental impact, the cabins maximise comfort while respecting their natural surroundings.
In keeping with CABÜ’s ethos of mindful, low-impact tourism, the resort will offer a variety of amenities focused on relaxation and connection with nature, including:
- An indoor swimming pool
- A natural swimming pond designed to blend seamlessly into the resort’s magic garden
- A nature spa with saunas, hot tubs and plunge buckets
- CABÜ House – a central social hub with reception, lounge and dining spaces
- An on-site shop, two bars and an events studio
- Wellness-focused, “low-adrenaline” experiences such as woodland walks, yoga sessions and digital-detox retreats
“CABÜ in the Cotswolds reflects our belief that modern hospitality should be both design-forward and environmentally responsible,” said JP Ledwidge, Founder of CABÜ. “Today’s travellers are seeking more than just a place to stay – they want immersive experiences that support wellbeing, foster connection, and allow them to slow down. This new resort has been designed with exactly that in mind.”
Located within easy reach of popular destinations including Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, and Bibury, the resort is positioned to become a premier countryside escape for both domestic and international visitors.
Bookings are expected to open in late 2026, with year-round stays available. CABÜ is a design-led, eco-conscious resort brand specialising in sustainable cabin communities that combine private accommodation with shared wellness and social spaces.
With existing locations in Kent and Ireland, and planning consent recently granted for a Cornwall resort in Holywell Bay, Newquay, the brand is redefining contemporary rural hospitality through thoughtful design and community-focused experience
