Carlisle Bay Antigua is set to reopen on 16 October 2025 following the completion of the first phase of its ambitious multi-million-dollar refurbishment programme.
The luxury beachfront resort has transformed its Bay, Garden and Ocean Suites—representing 55% of its total room inventory—with interiors by acclaimed London-based designer Miminat Shodeinde.
This marks the beginning of a phased evolution scheduled to conclude in November 2027. During annual seasonal closures, the resort will continue to refresh its remaining suites, spa, public areas and restaurants, ensuring a cohesive and elevated guest experience across the property.
The renovation forms part of Carlisle Bay’s long-term strategy to attract a greater share of international luxury leisure travellers, with a particular focus on the UK market. Ownership anticipates a revenue uplift of more than 20% post-renovation, alongside increased occupancy rates and broader economic benefits for local businesses and communities.
Miminat Shodeinde’s design approach blends contemporary elegance with Caribbean warmth, offering guests a refined yet immersive stay. The updated suites are expected to appeal to discerning travellers seeking both comfort and character in one of Antigua’s most picturesque settings.
For business travellers and luxury holidaymakers alike, Carlisle Bay’s refreshed offering positions the resort as a standout choice in the region—combining design-led accommodation with strategic investment in quality and service.
