Corinthia Hotels has opened reservations for Corinthia Rome, its first Italian hotel, set to open in February 2026 in a restored landmark building near the Pantheon and Spanish Steps.

Corinthia Rome is now taking reservations ahead of its official opening in February 2026, marking the Italian debut of Corinthia Hotels.

The 60-room grand-boutique property is housed in the former headquarters of the Bank of Italy on Piazza del Parlamento, placing it at the centre of Rome’s historic Campo Marzio district. Within walking distance of the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and the city’s political heart, the hotel positions itself as a refined urban retreat shaped by Rome’s artisan culture and contemporary creative scene.

Originally constructed in 1914 by Italian architect Marcello Piacentini, the 9,700-square-metre building has undergone a meticulous, multi-year restoration led by the Reuben Brothers. Historic elements including marble panelling, frescoes and carved woodwork have been carefully preserved, while new interiors by London-based studio G.A. Design introduce a restrained, modern elegance.

The hotel will feature 60 rooms and suites, including 21 suites designed to offer a more residential feel. Signature accommodation includes the townhouse-style Campo Marzio Suites, the rooftop Chigi Suite, the Arte Suite inspired by private art collections, the fresco-lined Theodoli Heritage Suite and the two-bedroom Aurea Penthouse with expansive terraces overlooking the city.

Dining at Corinthia Rome will be led by celebrated Italian chef Carlo Cracco, marking his first restaurant venture in the capital. The hotel will house two restaurants and a bar set around an internal courtyard, designed as a social focal point for both guests and locals.

Wellness is centred on a spa located within the building’s former bank vault, creating a secluded sanctuary beneath the hotel. Facilities will include treatment rooms, bathing pools and bespoke therapies developed in collaboration with 111Skin and Seed to Skin.

Danilo Zucchetti, managing director of Corinthia Rome, says the opening aligns with a broader evolution in the city’s luxury hospitality landscape. “Rome is undergoing a remarkable period of change in the hotel sector, and our ambition is to contribute meaningfully to that transformation,” he said. “We look forward to welcoming guests to the heart of the city.”

The Rome opening follows recent Corinthia launches in New York, Brussels and Bucharest, reinforcing the brand’s strategy of introducing design-led luxury hotels within landmark buildings in major global cities.
