Dar Global has announced the launch of Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Oman at its flagship AIDA destination, marking a major new addition to Oman’s rapidly expanding tourism and hospitality landscape.
The project brings one of the world’s most recognisable family entertainment brands to the Sultanate, combining high-end accommodation with immersive, child-focused experiences, while also offering investors full title ownership within a globally branded hospitality concept.
Positioned 130 metres above sea level within AIDA’s dramatic clifftop community, the resort is designed to redefine luxury family travel in the region. The Nickelodeon hotel will feature 120 keys, comprising fully furnished themed luxury suites and family-oriented rooms ranging from one-bedroom layouts to expansive three-bedroom residences. Each space will be infused with bold design and playful detailing inspired by Nickelodeon’s globally recognised characters and franchises.
Guests and residents will have access to Aqua Nick, the brand’s signature waterpark, complete with slides and splash zones, alongside themed dining venues and Club Nick — a dedicated kids-only clubhouse. The resort will also host a programme of live entertainment, including interactive game shows, character appearances and Nickelodeon’s iconic slime experiences.
For investors, the development offers a rare opportunity to acquire branded hospitality real estate within one of Oman’s most ambitious mixed-use destinations. Dar Global said the project is designed to drive sustained demand, long-term appeal and attractive returns, supported by the global strength of the Nickelodeon brand.
Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Oman forms part of the wider AIDA masterplan, a joint venture between Dar Global and Omran Group, Oman’s state-backed tourism development arm. Covering 3.5 million square metres, AIDA integrates luxury golf, residential and hospitality components, including mansions, limited-edition villas and premium apartments.
The development is aligned with Oman Vision 2040, supporting national ambitions to expand tourism, attract foreign investment and diversify the economy beyond hydrocarbons. With the first phase of AIDA, including core infrastructure, scheduled for completion by 2027, early buyers are being positioned to benefit from entry into a fast-emerging luxury destination.
Dar Global said the launch underlines its strategy of partnering with globally recognised brands to deliver destination-defining projects across the Middle East, reinforcing Oman’s growing reputation as a high-quality tourism and lifestyle investment market.
