Emirates has unveiled a world first in the skies: the U‑Dream headrest, designed to transform comfort for Economy Class passengers.
The multi‑way adjustable headrest offers full neck and head support, helping travellers sleep or relax without relying on neck pillows. Flexible side wings cradle the head, while vertical and tilt adjustments ensure personalised comfort for different body types.
Already installed on select Airbus A350 aircraft, the U‑Dream will be rolled out across Emirates’ fleet, including A380s and Boeing 777s. Developed in collaboration with Safran Seats, the leather headrest is padded, easy to clean, and tested to meet rigorous European safety standards.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, described the innovation as a “game‑changer” for long‑haul travel, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to enhancing the Economy Class experience. With wider cabins, generous legroom, mood lighting and Emirates’ award‑winning hospitality, the addition of the U‑Dream headrest sets a new benchmark for comfort in the sky.
