White Lodging has confirmed it will open Hotel Trinity, an Autograph Collection Hotel, in late 2026, adding a residential-minded luxury address to downtown Austin and giving business travellers another reason to extend a Texas trip.

Rising 14 floors at 311 E. Fifth Street, the property will house 258 guest rooms, including 20 suites, and will be the only Autograph Collection hotel in the city’s downtown core. It marks White Lodging’s 13th hotel in Austin, reinforcing the operator’s long-standing position in one of the United States’ fastest-growing corporate travel markets.

The pitch is private members’ club energy rather than transient convenience. Hotel Trinity will be built around a philosophy its team calls “Reserved for the Checked-In,” with a Forbes-trained service team and a string of residential touches aimed at guests who stay longer and expect more. That positioning chimes with a wider shift across the sector, where operators are reworking the upper end of the market, a theme explored in our look at the luxury hotel openings set to reshape business travel in 2026.

“There’s a certain magic that happens when a hotel starts to feel lived-in rather than lived-through. That’s what we’ve been chasing with every room, every amenity, every single detail at Hotel Trinity,” said Ebrahim Ansari, General Manager. “Hotel Trinity offers a heightened level of personalisation, delivered through intuitive service and thoughtful residential touches. All that’s left for you to do is arrive and make yourself at home.”

Food and drink will be a headline act. The Yacht Club, the hotel’s signature fine-dining seafood restaurant, will serve tableside signature dishes, a tasting menu, fresh oysters, caviar service and champagne pairings, alongside a bar programme built around bubbles, coastal wines, aperitivos and spritzes.

Above the guest rooms, Sundeck Social will bring the feel of a private social club to the rooftop. Reserved exclusively for registered guests, it will offer a pool and lounge, daily rotating programming and curated guest-only amenities, a clear nod to the trend for hotels carving out spaces that paying guests do not have to share with the public.

Inside the rooms, the residential theme continues with hardwood floors, Salt & Stone bath products and a mini bar stocked to feel more like a home pantry. The service model extends that idea further, with a dedicated house car, a Guest Experience Team, in-room grocery service and a resident text service for anything guests need during a stay.

The opening adds to a busy run for Marriott’s Autograph Collection, which recently unveiled the Donoma Las Terrenas Beach Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic as the brand continues to expand its roster of distinctive, independently spirited properties. It also lands as parent company Marriott pushes hard on its US footprint and loyalty proposition, recently marking its one-millionth room in the US portfolio.

Further detail on the design and service model is set out by developer and operator White Lodging, while booking information is available via Marriott’s Autograph Collection listing. For more, visit www.hoteltrinityatx.com.
