IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened a new dual-branded property in Orlando, pairing the wellness-led EVEN Hotel brand with the extended-stay comforts of Staybridge Suites under one roof on Universal Boulevard.
Developed in partnership with Japanese construction and real estate giant Daiwa House Group, the 288-room EVEN Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd and Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd places guests within easy reach of Universal Orlando Resort, including the newly opened Epic Universe theme park, and the Orange County Convention Center, one of the busiest meetings venues in the United States.
The opening completes a project first reported by Travelling for Business when plans for the dual-branded hotel were unveiled ahead of its 2026 debut, and adds further weight to IHG’s development momentum across the Americas, where the group recorded 24 openings and 65 signings in the first quarter of 2026 alone.
Guests at either brand can move freely between shared facilities, which include a 1,500 sq ft Athletic Studio, a 24-hour marketplace, a game room, a resort-style outdoor pool, guest laundry, storage units for long-stay travellers and a courtyard with barbecue grills and pet-walking areas.
The 120 EVEN Hotel rooms are built around rest and recovery, with premium bedding, cooling linens and spa-style showers. Food and drink options run from morning lattes and grab-and-go breakfast through to evening cocktails and dinner at EVEN Kitchen & Bar, alongside daily rituals such as an evening tea service.
The 168 Staybridge Suites rooms offer studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and separate living areas, in king and two-queen configurations. Guests receive a complimentary daily breakfast buffet, while the Staybridge Suites Social, a relaxed happy hour with light bites, beer and wine, runs on select evenings. Outdoor fire pits and grilling areas provide additional space to unwind, and Staybridge guests can also order from the menu at EVEN Kitchen & Bar.
A Daiwa House Group project manager said: “Orlando is a destination that invites both exploration and relaxation, and this property is designed to support both. With stays designed to support working, unwinding or hosting, guests can experience the city with a level of flexibility and comfort that feels tailored to how they travel.”
The property is aimed at a broad mix of travellers, from families visiting the city’s theme parks to professionals attending conventions nearby, as Orlando continues to expand its line-up of new experiences for 2026.
