The Biltmore Mayfair, a symbol of timeless elegance in the heart of Grosvenor Square, is thrilled to announce a collaboration with esteemed British jeweller, Boodles.

Together, the two brands present The Boodles Tea at The Biltmore: an exquisite Afternoon Tea crafted by The Biltmore and inspired by Boodles’ timeless pieces.

Celebrating Boodles’ illustrious heritage, the Afternoon Tea is a visual and culinary tribute to the brand’s renowned creations. The tea features an array of pastries and desserts delicately crafted by The Biltmore’s expert pastry chefs to echo the soft pinks of Boodles’ famous pink diamonds.

The cakes are the star of the show. The Boodles pink Apple & Vanilla Pearls is inspired by the Boodles Luna Pearl Rose Gold pendant. The smooth Opalys white chocolate ganache and slow-cooked apple compote create a refined contrast, much like the interplay of light and shadow on a perfectly polished pearl. The white, chocolate pearls atop the vanilla sable evoke the luxurious simplicity and timeless elegance of the piece.

The Flower Choux with Jivara milk chocolate ganache montée and blueberry gel is reminiscent of the Flower Pink Diamond Platinum and Rose Gold ring and a nod to the delicate and intricate designs often seen in Boodles’ floral-inspired collections.  The dried meringue adds a crisp, light texture that echoes the delicate precision with which Boodles’ artisans craft their jewels.

The Pear & White Chocolate Heart embodies the romantic and sentimental aspects of Boodles’ designs, often seen in their heart-shaped motifs and felt through their signature engagement rings. The combination of Opalys white chocolate mousse and caramelised pears, set on a vanilla sable, mirrors the brand’s ability to blend classic beauty with modern sophistication.

The Chocolate Explosion cake is a tribute to the bold and dynamic pieces in Boodles’ collection. The Guanaja chocolate mousse, hazelnut praline, crystallised chocolate, and brownie cake come together in a decadent ensemble, mirroring the layered complexity of a statement piece of jewellery. The sugar flower on top serves as the perfect flourish, akin to the intricate detailing that Boodles is renowned for.

The Lemon and Chamomile Boodles Shortbread offers the finishing touch.

Guests will also be treated to sandwiches and savouries crafted to the exceptional standard that The Biltmore is known for. Highlights include: crab tartlets with crushed avocado, kaffir lime, yuzu gel and pickled mustard seeds; tomato tartare, burrata, crispy basil and black olive tapenade tartlet; Hereford roast beef, onion chutney, grain mustard mayo, micro rocket, brioche onion bread; baba ghanoush, grilled vegetables, labneh on basil and spinach bread and a variety of warm, melt-in-your-mouth scones.

Each bite is a nod to Boodles’ meticulous craftsmanship, offering guests not only a taste of refinement but a connection to the legacy of one of Britain’s most celebrated jewellers.

The Biltmore is renowned for offering some of the most opulent and exclusive suites in London making it the perfect setting for an Afternoon Tea that promises to be as exquisite as the jewels that inspired it.
