Marriott International has announced the U.S. debut of its newest collection brand, Series by Marriott™, through a strategic agreement with Hawkins Way Capital.
Five properties currently operating under the FOUND Hotels banner will be converted to Series by Marriott™ over the next year, marking a significant expansion of the Marriott Bonvoy® portfolio into key urban and coastal markets.
The hotels – located in Miami Beach, Chicago, San Francisco’s Nob Hill, Santa Monica and San Diego – will retain their FOUND Hotels identity while gaining access to Marriott’s global distribution platforms and loyalty programme. The conversion is designed to preserve each property’s distinctive character while aligning with Marriott’s standards for quality and guest experience.
Series by Marriott™, first announced in May 2025, is positioned as a flexible collection brand offering reliable, design-led accommodation tailored to reflect the spirit of each destination. The brand caters to travellers seeking comfort, authenticity and immersion in local culture, with a focus on select service and regional relevance.
The move follows Marriott’s founding agreement with Concept Hospitality in India, where 115 properties under The Ferns Brands are set to join Series by Marriott™, further signalling the brand’s international ambitions.
