Ascendant Capital Partners, a prominent real estate investment and operating company, has joined forces with global hotel management firm Highgate and global investment manager Centerbridge Partners to unveil the newly renovated Monterey Beach Hotel.
Situated along the picturesque Monterey Peninsula, this Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel reopens today, following an extensive refurbishment and rebranding effort.
Monterey Beach Hotel, the only beachfront property in the region, boasts 192 guest rooms, including four suites. Its versatile meeting and events spaces have been reinvented to accommodate various occasions. The hotel’s commitment to local culture is evident through collaborations with artisans and personalities, enriching the guest experience.
LA-based design firm Indidesign spearheaded the hotel’s transformation, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. Bespoke furnishings and natural materials create a quintessential California living experience, complemented by breath taking ocean views upon arrival.
Monterey Beach Hotel offers three distinct culinary and cocktail venues: the Lobby Lounge, The Lantern Room, and Tidewater. Under the guidance of Resident Culinary Advisor Paul Corsentino and Executive Chef Jose Velasquez, guests can savor chef-driven interpretations of central California coast flavours. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability and community shines through its partnerships with local purveyors.
Beyond its private beach and coastline views, the hotel features top-tier amenities. From a heated outdoor pool and hot tub to upcoming Scandinavian-inspired contrast therapy with barrel saunas and ice baths, wellness enthusiasts will find solace here. Additionally, complementary e-bikes encourage outdoor exploration. With 7,500 sq. ft. of versatile meeting and event space, as well as 32,500 sq. ft. of private beach access, Monterey Beach Hotel caters to weddings, corporate gatherings, and executive retreats.
