Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have expanded their Winter 25/26 programme once again, by adding two brand-new routes to Morocco – Bournemouth to Agadir and Leeds Bradford to Marrakech.
This latest expansion comes on the back of continued demand for beach holidays and city breaks to Morocco and means the companies will operate to the North African country from eight UK bases in Winter 25/26.
The addition of a brand-new route to Agadir from Bournemouth Airport comes in the same week that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays launched flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport for the first time, meaning even more fantastic news for customers and independent travel agents across the region.
The companies will operate weekly Tuesday services from Bournemouth to Agadir from 4th November 2025 through to 24th March 2026, meaning the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator will operate to 13 destinations in Winter 25/26 and 25 destinations in total from Bournemouth Airport. It also expands Jet2’s Agadir programme to seven UK airports in Winter 25/26 (Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted in addition to Bournemouth) and nine UK airports across all seasons. This gives Jet2 more choice to Agadir from the UK than any other airline.
The announcement also represents more good news for holidaymakers travelling from Leeds Bradford Airport thanks to the addition of a brand-new route to Marrakech.
The introduction of this new route means that Jet2 will operate twice weekly services to Marrakech (Tuesdays and Fridays) from 3rd October 2025 through to 28th April 2026 from Leeds Bradford Airport. It means that Yorkshire’s leading airline and tour operator will operate to 22 destinations in Winter 25/26, including two destinations in Morocco, and 58 destinations in total. It also means that that Jet2 will operate to Marrakech from across six UK airports (Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted in addition to Leeds Bradford).
Since they started operating award-winning flights and holidays to Morocco in October 2024, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have continued to see strong year-round demand to Agadir and Marrakech, and have made today’s move in response to this demand.
Agadir takes the crown as Morocco’s most popular pick for a beach getaway. Located on the west coast of Morocco, Agadir’s biggest draw is a 9km-long stretch of golden sand which is dotted with hotels, waterparks and a selection of incredible bars and restaurants. As well as enjoying the sand and surf, holidaymakers can discover Agadir and its souks, minarets and tea cafes. Customers can also venture to the laidback fishing village of Taghazout or the traditional Immi Ouaddar.
In the centre of the ‘Red City’, customers on a Jet2CityBreak to Marrakech can choose from centrally-located bases to fall in love with the city’s buzzing centre, where labyrinth-like streets lead to hidden riads that are adorned with exquisitely tiled courtyards. In addition, customers travelling on a Jet2holiday can also enjoy the city and its surrounding areas, experiencing the Moroccan way of life whilst enjoying the sunshine and facilities in a selection of 4 and 5-star hotels in the Marrakech area. These hotels provide customers with the benefits of resort-style accommodation, with all the delights of an iconic city located nearby too.
