Navan is moving all Reed & Mackay clients onto the Navan travel and expense platform as it rolls the long-established UK travel management brand into a single, “unified Navan” identity.

Navan, formerly known as TripActions, acquired Reed & Mackay in 2021 and has continued to operate it as a distinct brand focused on high-touch, service-led travel management for complex corporate clients. Under the new strategy, Reed & Mackay’s service model will become the foundation of a new premium offering within Navan’s global platform.

The integration will be led by Nina Herold, who moved from chief operating officer at Navan to become chief executive of Reed & Mackay last year following the retirement of long-standing CEO Fred Stratford.

Navan said the consolidation of Reed & Mackay into a unified brand for corporate sales is effective immediately. However, it did not provide a specific timeline for when Reed & Mackay customers, which currently use separate agent-led and self-booking systems, will be fully migrated onto the Navan platform.

“We are moving at a thoughtful pace to ensure that every customer migration is handled with the highest degree of care,” Herold said. “The goal is to deliver an offering that gives customers even more of what they value today.”

According to Navan, its booking platform offers broader content and tighter integration with expense management for Reed & Mackay clients. At the same time, the Reed & Mackay service model will enable Navan to introduce a higher-touch service tier for its wider customer base.

“This unification allows Navan to provide a single, powerful platform that can be tailored to any business,” said Ariel Cohen, Navan’s chief executive and co-founder. “From a digital-first start-up to a global law firm requiring 24/7 dedicated support, clients can now scale service levels within one ecosystem.”

Navan added that bringing Reed & Mackay fully into the group will also create operational efficiencies as organisational structures, technology and service delivery are aligned.

The move signals a shift from a multi-brand strategy to a single global identity, positioning Navan to compete more directly for large, complex enterprise travel programmes while retaining the bespoke service approach that made Reed & Mackay a leader in the premium corporate travel segment.
