IHG Hotels & Resorts welcomes a flagship new destination, Hotel Indigo Gloucester – The Forum, to the historic cathedral city.
Hotel Indigo Gloucester – The Forum, a new design-led boutique hotel, opens this season in the heart of Gloucester city centre. Hotel Indigo is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts luxury and lifestyle portfolio and has over 180 hotels worldwide.
Set within The Forum, Gloucester’s award-winning regeneration development, the hotel brings the brand’s signature style to the vibrant South West city. The hotel’s unique, curated design is inspired by the local stories, culture and history of the surrounding area, with key references to both its industrial heritage and layers of historic significance dating back to Roman times.
With 129 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites set across 4 floors, visitors and local residents alike can experience a range of social spaces, including the city’s first rooftop bar, Crimson Spire which offers incredible panoramic views of the Gloucester skyline which inspired its name. The retro-chic rooftop is set to be the city’s ultimate destination for laughter, lingering, and living in the moment, where creativity and community converge.
The hotel is also excited to introduce their all-day bistro, West Window, and cafe, Terraé, when they open later this Spring.
The pinnacle of the new venue is the stunning glass-fronted private event space, The Bridge, offering a showstopping backdrop for corporate events to parties. The elevated space is a central destination to celebrate life above the city streets.
The much-anticipated hotel is in the centre of the urban neighbourhood, adjacent to the city’s transport hub, and is ideally positioned to discover and explore the eclectic city of Gloucester and the surrounding Cotswolds.
