Nick Jones, the visionary behind Soho House, is set to open his first London hotel since stepping down as CEO of the global members’ club group in 2022.

The new property, named St Clement Hotel, will occupy the upper floors of Corner Shop 180 – Jones’s recently launched café, deli and wine bar on Arundel Street, just steps from Temple station and the Thames.

The 90-room hotel will feature a rooftop restaurant, a gym, and 15 loft-style apartments designed for longer stays. Bath amenities will be provided by English perfumer Lyn Harris, adding a bespoke touch to the guest experience. The hotel is part of Jones’s new venture, Jones & Co (Hotels, Restaurant and Residences), marking a fresh chapter in his hospitality career beyond the Soho House brand.

Corner Shop 180, which opened in June, blends bakery, grocery, and wine bar in a single, design-led space. Its location within the Arundel Great Court development places it near Somerset House and Soho House’s flagship 180 House on The Strand—making it a strategic hub for business travellers seeking style, substance and centrality.

Jones, who stepped down following a successful recovery from prostate cancer, has stated that the experience reshaped his creative focus. With St Clement Hotel, he returns to the heart of London’s hospitality scene, offering a boutique experience that blends his signature aesthetic with independent flair.

Business travellers can expect a curated stay that reflects Jones’s legacy of comfort, community and cultural connection – ideal for those seeking more than just a bed for the night.
