Set to open in 2026, Nobu Hotel Montenegro is set along the Adriatic coast within the Sea Breeze Resort enclave and marks a stylish return for the globally renowned Nobu Hospitality brand.

Co-founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper, the group has expanded its luxury lifestyle footprint with this 80-room hotel, 100 private residences, and five bespoke villas – all centred around its signature Nobu restaurant

The hotel’s design blends Nobu’s signature aesthetic, minimalist elegance, natural textures, and Japanese-inspired spatial harmony with the coastal charm of Montenegro. Interiors feature soft wood panelling, stone accents, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame panoramic sea views. Rooms will be decorated in muted tones with subtle nods to local craftsmanship, offering a serene retreat for both leisure and business travellers. Bathrooms sleek and spa-like, stocked with premium toiletries and rainfall showers.

While the property shares Nobu’s global DNA, it’s far from a carbon copy. The Montenegro outpost embraces its setting with private waterfront access and a design that mirrors the region’s relaxed sophistication. The restaurant will serve Nobu’s iconic Japanese-Peruvian fusion but also incorporating local ingredients and Adriatic influences, offering a subtle twist on the classics.

Amenities to include a wellness centre, spa, and fitness facilities, as well as event spaces designed for corporate retreats and private functions. The hotel’s location within Sea Breeze Resort places guests near one of Montenegro’s most exclusive coastal destinations, with access to beach clubs, marina services, and curated experiences.

Beyond the resort, guests can explore the historic town of Budva, hike in Lovćen National Park, or cruise the Bay of Kotor. Montenegro’s compact geography makes it easy to combine meetings with meaningful downtime all under the Adriatic sun

Nobu Montenegro will offer a rare blend of brand familiarity and regional authenticity. It’s ideal for travellers who want the comfort of a globally trusted name with the added richness of local culture.
