A new “capsule” hotel offering stylish, affordable, and environmentally conscious accommodation for up to 568 guests has gained planning consent in London’s bustling Elephant and Castle area.

This innovative project, spearheaded by CoDE Concepts, promises to be a game-changer for the rapidly developing district.

Elephant and Castle, known for its excellent transport links, is an ideal location for the new hotel. Guests will enjoy easy access to London’s major attractions, business districts, and cultural hotspots. The hotel’s proximity to the station and its Zone 1 location will make city exploration effortless for both business and leisure travellers.

Named “The NeST,” the hotel is set to become a landmark in sustainable hospitality. It will be constructed to achieve a BREEAM rating of excellent, reflecting its commitment to environmental consciousness. The NeST is expected to open its doors in 2027, offering a futuristic lodging experience in the heart of London.

Accommodation will be provided in capsule pods, designed for maximum comfort and privacy. Beyond the sleeping quarters, The NeST will feature a rooftop co-working lounge, a state-of-the-art gym, and dedicated space for a local arts charity, making it more than just a place to stay.
