Plaza Premium Group has been named World’s Best Airport Lounge Group at the 2026 World Airline Awards, securing the title for an extraordinary tenth consecutive year.
The accolade, often described as the “Oscars of the aviation industry,” reinforces the Hong Kong‑based company’s long‑standing mission to “make travel better,” according to founder and CEO Song Hoi See.
The award was presented in London, where Plaza Premium Group’s leadership team accepted the honour alongside Skytrax representatives. Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted praised the group’s consistency, calling the decade‑long winning streak a “remarkable achievement” and noting that customer feedback continues to highlight the brand’s high standards across its global network.
Three Plaza Premium lounges also ranked in Skytrax’s Top 10 Independent Airport Lounges for 2026: Rome Fiumicino, London Heathrow T4 and Dubai International Airport. Each lounge was recognised for its distinctive sense of place — from Italian immersion in Rome to classic British hospitality in London and Emirati‑influenced design in Dubai.
Founded in 1998, Plaza Premium Group now operates across 600 airports in 150 countries, serving more than 30 million passengers annually and maintaining the world’s largest network of independent airport lounges.
