Qatar Airways has confirmed the temporary suspension of all flights following the closure of air traffic movement across the State of Qatar.
The airline said it is working closely with government authorities and stakeholders to manage the situation and support impacted passengers. Operations will resume once Qatari airspace is reopened, though the airline warned of significant delays to its flight schedule once services restart.
To assist affected travellers, additional ground staff have been deployed at Hamad International Airport and other key locations.
“The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority,” the airline said in a statement, adding that further updates will be shared via qatarairways.com and the Qatar Airways mobile app as information becomes available.
