Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® has confirmed that its highly anticipated alpine debut, Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, remains on track to open in December 2025, just ahead of the peak ski season and reservations are now open.
This landmark opening marks the brand’s first foray into mountain hospitality and further strengthens its presence in France, joining the iconic Hôtel de Crillon in Paris.
Perched at the summit of Courchevel 1850, one of the world’s most prestigious ski destinations, the resort is poised to redefine luxury in the Alps. With ski-in/ski-out access, panoramic views, and a design ethos rooted in Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy, the property promises a seamless blend of alpine adventure and refined elegance.
The resort will feature 51 guest rooms and suites, the highest suite inventory in Courchevel’s exclusive Le Jardin Alpin enclave. Guests can expect interiors by acclaimed French designer Tristan Auer, who is overseeing a full transformation of the former site. His vision fuses contemporary alpine luxury with the natural drama of the surrounding peaks—think warm wood tones, tactile textiles, and expansive windows that frame the snow-dusted landscape.
Amenities will include integrated retail and ski rental spaces, a spacious spa, all-day dining with a terrace, a kids club, and a bar lounge and cigar room—all designed to cater to the needs of discerning winter travellers. The resort’s culinary offering is expected to spotlight seasonal produce and alpine flavours, with a focus on conviviality and craft.
Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, commented: “Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin represents a defining milestone for the brand as our inaugural venture into alpine hospitality, situated in one of the world’s most revered ski destinations. This opening affirms Rosewood’s position at the vanguard of destination-led hospitality, offering our guests an opportunity for discovery in the most coveted address of Le Jardin Alpin.”
As of October 2025, construction is progressing on schedule, with the resort poised to welcome its first guests in time for the 2025/2026 ski season. The opening underscores Rosewood’s commitment to expanding its European footprint through properties that celebrate local culture, craftsmanship, and landscape.
For those seeking a winter escape that marries heritage, design, and high-altitude indulgence, Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin is set to become the new benchmark for contemporary alpine luxury and reservations are now open.
