Royal Caribbean Group is set to debut Royal Beach Club Santorini in summer 2026, marking a strategic expansion of its land-based destination portfolio from two to eight by 2028.

The new beach club, located on the volcanic shores of Santorini, will welcome guests from Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, offering a curated experience that blends the island’s iconic landscapes with the brand’s signature hospitality. The launch forms part of the company’s “Ultimate Santorini Day” concept — a full-day itinerary that includes visits to Oia’s white-washed buildings and blue-domed churches, and Fira’s boutiques, cafés, and galleries.

Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, described the move as “a bold step forward” in diversifying the company’s vacation offerings. “We’re thrilled to connect guests with Santorini’s gems — from its iconic villages to the Aegean Sea’s famous beach club culture — creating a balanced, authentic island experience.”

Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean, added: “Santorini is an incredible destination that our guests love to explore, and with this new beach club, we are able to bring the best of what the island has to offer with the signature service Royal Caribbean is known for.”

To enhance guest flow and reduce congestion, the company will introduce a new arrival system allowing vacationers to begin their Santorini journey from one of three entry points — maximising time spent on the island while minimising crowding.

The Santorini opening follows the December 2025 debut of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas, and joins a growing pipeline of land-based experiences including:

  • Perfect Day at CocoCay, The Bahamas
  • Labadee, Haiti
  • Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, The Bahamas (2025)
  • The Cormorant at 55 South, Chile (2026)
  • Royal Beach Club Cozumel, Mexico (2026)
  • Perfect Day Mexico (2027)
  • Royal Beach Club Lelepa (2028)

For business travellers and cruise planners, the expansion signals Royal Caribbean Group’s commitment to destination innovation, guest experience, and sustainable tourism across key global markets.
