Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of over 30 extraordinary brands, has announced the opening of Sheraton Uşak Hotel & Thermal Spa, further expanding Sheraton’s presence in Türkiye.

The hotel introduces Sheraton’s refined hospitality, centred on connection, comfort and community, to a destination long celebrated for its rich thermal heritage.

Designed by architect Atilla Kangüleç, with interiors by Hande Tözün, Sheraton Uşak Hotel & Thermal Spa reflects Sheraton’s contemporary design ethos through warm, inviting and intuitively planned spaces. The lobby serves as the heart of the guest experience, conceived as an open, multi‑functional environment anchored by Sheraton’s signature design elements, including Community Tables and tech-enabled Studios that foster collaboration, while thoughtfully designed seating booths provide privacy for focused productivity.

“With its prime location, integrated thermal wellness offering, and Sheraton’s signature approach to modern hospitality, Sheraton Uşak Hotel & Thermal Spa establishes a new standard for premium travel experiences in the region,” said Sandra Schulze-Potgieter, Vice President, Brand Management, Premium, Select & Midscale Brands, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International.  “Uşak is defined by its heritage and cultural depth, and with the addition of the Sheraton brand, we can offer travellers a modern, connected travel experience that complements the destination’s unique character.”

Sheraton Uşak Hotel & Thermal Spa features 164 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites, each fitted with the Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience, generous workspaces and modern amenities designed to support both relaxation and productivity.

Dining and shared experiences are central to the hotel’s offering. Café by Sheraton, located within the lobby, acts as a welcoming social hub and anchor for the hotel’s public space, featuring a curated all‑day menu. Azure Restaurant showcases fresh seafood and regional flavours in a refined setting, while High Life Bar provides a vibrant evening atmosphere with live music and DJ performances on select nights. Seasonally, guests can also enjoy the relaxed ambiance of Poolside Breeze Bar, while the Energy Lab within the spa caters to those seeking nutritious, wellness‑focused options.  In addition, for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members, the Sheraton Club delivers an elevated experience with complimentary breakfast, curated refreshments, and evening hors d’oeuvres.

A defining feature of the property is the Diamond Thermal Spa, an expansive 5,000‑square‑meter wellness destination offering natural mineral‑rich thermal waters integrated directly into the hotel experience. The spa features thermal pools, traditional Turkish baths, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis and a curated menu of massage therapies, complemented by a 24/7 fitness centre and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

With 1,250 square meters of flexible meeting and event space, the hotel is positioned to become a leading venue for corporate, social and celebratory events in Uşak. The UlubeyGrand Hall, spanning 690 square meters, along with four additional meeting rooms, accommodates conferences, weddings and large‑scale gatherings with ease.

Ideally located at the western gateway to the city along the İzmir–Ankara highway, the hotel offers convenient access for business and leisure travellers alike. Set alongside Huzur Park, it provides proximity to key attractions including Ulubey Canyon, the Uşak Archaeology Museum, Clandras Bridge, and the ancient city of Blaundus.

“We are proud to welcome guests to Sheraton Uşak Hotel & Thermal Spa at such an important moment for both Sheraton and Marriott International,” said Bülent Şenyurt, General Manager, Sheraton Uşak Hotel & Thermal Spa. “This hotel reflects the spirit of Uşak by bringing together cultural heritage, thermal wellness and modern hospitality, and our team looks forward to delivering an experience that is both locally rooted and globally connected.”

Today, Marriott’s premium hotels represent 50 per cent of the company’s operations in the EMEA region across brands such as Marriott Hotels, Sheraton, Westin, Le Méridien and Autograph Collection.

Schulze-Potgieter added, “From the earliest days of our expansion, legacy brands like Sheraton laid the foundation for our growth across EMEA by connecting guests, owners and communities, and setting the standard for thoughtful, locally rooted hospitality that continues to shape our success today. The opening of Sheraton Uşak Hotel & Thermal Spa is a powerful reminder of how central our premium brands have been, and continue to be, to our growth in the region.”
