Hilton has signed Naples Grande Beach Resort into its luxury Signia Hilton portfolio, with the 474 room property due to trade as Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort from 1 January 2027. It will be the brand’s first hotel on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Rooms are already on sale through Hilton.com for stays from that date, giving employers planning United States meetings, incentive trips and client entertaining a good lead time on a property that will be new to the market in all but name. The room count includes 50 villas, and the resort sits on three miles of beach within a short drive of downtown Naples.
When does Signia Hilton Naples Grande open?
Signia Hilton Naples Grande opens on 1 January 2027, at the end of what Hilton calls the most significant transformation in the resort’s nearly four decade history. The resort wide renovation covers redesigned guest rooms and suites, new culinary outlets, destination inspired experiences, premium wellness facilities and social spaces designed to get guests talking to one another.
“Naples is one of Florida’s most coveted coastal destinations, and this resort provides an exceptional backdrop for the hallmarks of the Signia Hilton experience, offering guests a distinctive setting to connect, celebrate, discover and immerse themselves in the best of Florida’s Gulf Coast,” said Meghan Fitzgerald, global brand leader, Signia Hilton.
What the refit means for corporate travel
For anyone booking on behalf of a business, the draw is the meetings inventory rather than the beach. The official resort listing sets out a collection of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces sized for everything from a board level offsite to a full company conference, alongside a luxury spa, multiple pools and championship tennis courts. Clam Pass and its mangrove forests sit on the doorstep, with Waterside Shops and the cultural attractions of Florida’s Paradise Coast a few minutes away.
That combination points the resort at incentive programmes and mid sized conferences rather than the overnight transit trade. UK teams will route in through Southwest Florida International Airport at Fort Myers, the main gateway for the area, which makes the property a realistic option for transatlantic groups rather than a domestic only proposition. Florida has been busy elsewhere too, with new oceanfront rooms in Daytona Beach coming on stream before the end of this year.
Signia by Hilton builds out its Florida footprint
The signing makes this the third Signia property in Florida, joining Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort, and adds to a Hilton estate of more than 540 hotels across the state. The brand is growing beyond Florida as well, with a convention hotel under construction in Savannah due to open in 2028. The pipeline sits alongside Hilton’s annual list of US openings to watch, which has become a useful planning document for travel managers building preferred hotel programmes.
Gary Sims, managing director of the resort, said: “For generations, guests have chosen Naples Grande for its extraordinary setting, expansive amenities and genuine sense of hospitality.” He added that the hotel is “building on that legacy with a thoughtfully reimagined resort that offers even more opportunities to relax, celebrate and connect.”
The practical advice for bookers is to treat the current rates as an opening position. Hotels rarely price a post refurbishment product at its eventual level in the first booking window, and a resort of this size carrying a new luxury badge is unlikely to be cheaper in 2028 than it is on day one. Anyone with a Florida programme should also check whether existing Hilton corporate rates will travel across to the property, since the rebrand and the renovation together can reset negotiated terms. Full details of the signing are in Hilton’s announcement.
