The St. Regis brand is preparing to make its long‑awaited Mayfair debut this autumn, as The St. Regis London completes its transformation of the landmark building at the corner of Bond Street and Conduit Street, one of the capital’s most prestigious addresses.

Following a full renovation, the former Westbury hotel has been reimagined as a contemporary expression of the St. Regis legacy, inspired by the vision of founder John Jacob Astor IV, who opened the original St. Regis in New York in 1904. The London property brings that philosophy of residential‑style luxury to Mayfair, blending heritage with a modern sense of glamour.

A new architectural chapter for a Mayfair icon

The redevelopment introduces new floors, expanded public spaces, two dedicated wellness suites and 193 guest rooms, including 66 suites. Interiors by Richmond International draw directly from the character of the neighbourhood — the craftsmanship of Savile Row, the quiet elegance of Bond Street’s fashion houses and the artistic heritage of nearby galleries and auction rooms.

At the top of the hotel, the Penthouse Suite crowns the building with a 150sqm private terrace and 360‑degree views across London’s skyline, positioning it as one of the city’s most striking new luxury accommodations.

Dining and culture at the forefront

The hotel will open with Le Perroquet, an all‑day French brasserie by acclaimed chef Daniel Rose, marking his first London venture after celebrated careers in Paris and New York.

In a first for the brand, the Sarabande Foundation’s House of Bandits will curate the hotel’s entire art collection — more than 1,000 artworks by over 80 artists — transforming the property into a living gallery. Bespoke commissions inspired by the destination will appear throughout rooms, suites and public spaces, supported by the creative foundation established by Lee Alexander McQueen.

A new cultural heartbeat for Mayfair

General Manager Marco Novella describes the hotel as “the city’s newest cultural heartbeat and gathering place,” emphasising a return to “considered and personal” luxury, delivered through the intuitive service for which St. Regis is known.

With its blend of heritage, craftsmanship, art and contemporary design, The St. Regis London is set to become one of the capital’s most anticipated openings of the year and a significant new address for both international travellers and Londoners alike.
