Built at the corner of Eastvale Place and Sandyford Street, the 142-bedroom multi-purpose hotel is the culmination of almost 20 years of investment in the local area, and will cater for the renowned programme of events at SWG3 and beyond, while creating more than 100 new jobs.
SWG3, in partnership with Stallan-Brand, have successfully received planning permission for an ambitious new multi-purpose hotel project, which will be built adjacent to the venue – marking a vital redefinition of Glasgow’s Clydeside.
Catering for the renowned programme of events at SWG3, as well as the nearby SEC, the impressive hotel will feature two restaurants, two bars, co-working spaces, a gym, a movement studio, and a rooftop terrace – and with a commitment to sustainability at it’s heart, and a focus on design, culture and community, it will establish a vibrant focal point for the city’s creative community with a range of studio spaces also on offer.

The hotel also represents a further phase of the GRID (Glasgow Riverside Innovation District) initiative – a project aimed at promoting industry and innovation across the communities close to the Riverside immediate to SWG3, which includes the city’s newest pedestrian bridge across the Clyde, due to open this weekend.
