Cheval Blanc Seychelles opened its doors marking the sixth addition to the prestigious Cheval Blanc portfolio, fully owned by LVMH.

This new luxury retreat joins the ranks of its sister properties in Paris, the Maldives, St-Barts, St-Tropez, and Courchevel, under the expert management of LVMH Hospitality Management.

Nestled on the southwest coast of Mahé Island at Anse Intendance Beach, the Cheval Blanc Seychelles has been meticulously designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy. The resort celebrates Creole traditions and the island’s lush landscapes, offering villas with private pools and stunning views of the beach, hillside, or tropical jungle. Gathy, who also designed Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives, brings his signature touch to this New Haven.

Art enthusiasts will appreciate the bespoke pieces created for the resort by Prune Nourry and Madagascan artist Joël Andrianomearisoa. The site, formerly home to Banyan Tree Seychelles, has been completely redeveloped to house this new Cheval Blanc gem.

The resort features 52 opulent villas, with 24 lining the pristine white sand beach and 28 nestled into the verdant hills. Each villa, ranging from 220 sqm to 620 sqm, boasts its own private swimming pool.

Dining at Cheval Blanc Seychelles promises to be a culinary journey. Le White offers a fusion of cosmopolitan cuisine and classic Seychellois Creole flavours, while Vivamento, located by the main pool, serves Italian delights. The beach club Sula provides Mediterranean fare, Mizumi offers Japanese cuisine, and Le 1947 showcases French gastronomy.

Spa Cheval Blanc, in collaboration with French luxury brand Guerlain, features eight treatment rooms and a range of therapies inspired by the island’s natural wonders. For younger guests, the 1,500-square-metre Le Carrousel play space, complete with a water park and interactive activities, ensures endless entertainment.
